PATTERSON Nancy Evelyn Born October 4, 1949 in St. John, New Brunswick, a much loved wife, mother and friend, passed away June 24, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Nancy is survived by her husband, Gordon; daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah; motherHelen Wheelock and father, Edward (deceased); sister Ena and Peter Buttuls; brother John and Lorraine Wheelock; nephew and nieces, Colin, Jennifer and Lindsay Wheelock. Active in the wider Church in Victoria, Nancy leaves behind a rich spiritual legacy in the lives of many, young and old, in communities throughout the world. A trained teacher, Nancy had a great love for children and young people. A memorial service will be held Tuesday June 29, 2:00 PM at North Douglas Pentecostal Church, 675 Jolly Place. Rev. Peter MacRaild, her pastor at New Hope Baptist will officiate. A viewing will be held Monday June 28th, 5:30 7:00 PM at First Memorial Funeral Home, 4725 Falaise Dr. (Royal Oak).
