Nancy P. Dube Lewis, 58BATH - Nancy P. Dube Lewis, 58, of Bath, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Maine Medical Center, Portland.She was the daughter of the late Camille Dube and Laura Cote of Ocean Park.She was born in Biddeford, Sept. 16, 1946, and was a graduate of St. Andre's School in 1965. She married Brian P. Lewis on Aug. 3, 1968, in Biddeford.Upon moving to Bath in 1974, she quickly became active at St. Mary's Church as a teacher of sacrament classes. She has been the director of religious education for the past 16 years and was involved in many activities at the church.She was a Girl Scout leader and had been employed by the Bath school system as a special education aide. She loved camping, especially by the ocean, and cherished memories of family vacations to Disney World, Prince Edward Island, and family gatherings.She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Our Lady's Sodality of St. Mary's, and a charter member of the Moosepathian Red Hat Society.She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Sharon M. Conant and her husband Ben of Norway and Michelle M. Brann and her husband Gerald of Waterville; three sisters, Pauline Aportria and her husband Jim of Buxton, Jane LeBrun of Lewiston, Sally Maclean and her husband Charlie of New Glouscester; three nieces, Sara LeBrun and Crystal and Summer Maclean; a nephew, Mark Aportria and his wife Laurie; and a great-nephew, Caleb.Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, at David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 144 Lincoln St., Bath. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Biddeford.Memorial donations may be made to:St. Mary's Catholic Church 144 Lincoln St. Bath, Maine 04530 Arrangements are by David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath.
