Nancy Lou Harris, age 55, passed away Saturday, February 10, at Cox Medical Center South. She is survived by her husband Johnnie; her son Kirby; daughter Melissa; three grandchildren; sisters Mary Calahan, Anne Thomas, Kathy Downs and Janet Munden; brothers Roy and Phillip Downs; and a host of friends and acquaintances that she touched over the years in numerous ways. Nancy's hugs, smiles, and loving comments will be missed by those she touched everyday. She had special ways of showing how she loved everyone through her giving and caring. The things important to Nancy were her family and her work at the Central Community of Christ Church where she taught her little love bugs during Sunday School. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, February 12, in the funeral home.
