<!-- FH = FAUPEL FUNERAL HOME, INC. -->BROWN, Nancy L, of Trinity, FL died on May 25, 2013. She is survived by her husband, George F. Brown, Jr.; her son, Donald F. Brown of Oakton, VA; and her daughter, Kelly E. Brown of New Port Richey, FL; as well as her mother, brother, and sisters in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Nancy was the Senior Vice President for Clinical Services for HPH Hospice, an organization she had served since 2003. Her career included executive responsibilities not only at HPH, but also for hospice organizations in Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, and Rhode Island. Earlier, she had worked as a charge nurse caring for childhood cancer patients at the Children's Hospitals of Pittsburgh and Washington, and she helped to develop community health programs for New Visions of Newport RI. She had a degree in nursing from Shadyside Hospital of Pittsburgh, a BA in Sociology from Salve Regina College of Newport, and an MA in Health Care Administration from the George Washington University of Washington, DC. The Nancy L. Brown Memorial Fund has been established in her honor. The purpose of this permanent fund will be to make ongoing contributions to the Children's Assistance Program (CAP) provided by HPH Hospice.
