Nancy Jo Wood, age 72, of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday, June 12th at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Edgewater. Born in Xenia, Ohio, Ms. Wood, came to this area in 1984 from her birthplace. She was a member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church and former member of Smyrna Yacht Club. Ms. Wood was a bookkeeper for auto dealerships in Ohio and co-owned Beachside Photo in New Smyrna Beach with her late husband. She was an avid volunteer in the Oncology department at Bert Fish Medical Center as well as the Bert Fish Auxiliary, New Smyrna Beach Library and Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. Survivors include three nephews, John Stout and his wife, Cheryl of Circleville, OH, Daniel Stout and his wife, Jane of Union, KY, and David Stout and his wife, Regina of East Lansing, MI; a sister-in-law, Judith W. Stout of Circleville; and an extended family including William Stout and several great nieces and nephews.
