Nancy Ilene Phillips Fleming, 99, Bear Creek, Ala., passed away Oct. 20, 2007, at Sunbridge Shoals Nursing Home.She was a member of Bear Creek Methodist Church.Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Ala. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at the funeral home chapel, with Brother Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Bear Creek, Ala.Nancy was born to Fanny and Sol Phillips in Bear Creek, Ala., on Sept. 14, 1908. She was the last surviving child of 10 children. She was married to the late Clarence C. Fleming on Dec. 13, 1925, and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage together.She is survived by her children, Clifton "Sol" Fleming and wife, Peggy, of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Carolyn Ilene Cagle and husband, David, of Muscle Shoals, Ala., John Phillip Fleming and wife, Patricia, of Phil Campbell, Ala., Patsy Hutto and husband, John, of Haleyville, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Fleming; parents, Fanny and Sol Phillips; daughter, Cherrie Fleming Hall; granddaughter, Rhonda Carolyn Cagle; four brothers; five sisters.Nancy leaves behind a host of family and friends.
