Nancy died September 30, 2007, in Port Orange, Fla. She was born November 20, 1923, Worcester, England, to Richard and Helen Thomas. She immigrated to Vancouver British Columbia, Canada, in 1947 and became a Canadian citizen, January 1954. Nancy was a home economics teacher who took her first teaching job in Ocean Falls, B.C. in 1948. She worked in both the United States and Canada for 32 years, ending her career in 1980 at Comox Valley Junior High School, B.C., Canada. During this period she earned a master's degree (M.A.T. Home Economics) July 11, 1969, at Washington State University, and also she married Ceshel C. Williams in June of 1957. They had two sons. Nancy loved to travel, and she was always on the move, literally. She finally settled in Ormond Beach, Fla., in 2003. Unity Church was also a big part of Nancy's life. She was an active member in Bellingham, Wash.; Prescott, Ariz.; and Holly Hill, Fla. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ceshel C. Williams, in 1973 and her grandson, Taylor Joseph Williams in 1990. Nancy is survived by her sister, Mary H. Kingham; and two sons, Thomas Williams and John Williams. Nancy will surely be missed by her family, friends and past students.
