NancyDaltonJacksonville, FL - Nancy Carol Dalton, age 55, died December 22, 2011, after an extended illness.She was born on April 2, 1956, in Asheville, NC, to Walter Elbert Dalton and Mary Kate Israel. She graduated from Asheville High School, and received a bachelor's degree in Business and Human Resources from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Her lifetime work included the banking business in Asheville and Charlotte. When she moved to Florida she became President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Credit Union Shared Services.She was a former member of Abernethy United Methodist Church, and she was an avid supporter of the Susan Komen Breast Foundation.Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Walter Elbert Dalton, and a sister, Katherine Jo DaltonShe is survived by her mother Mary Dalton of Asheville, a sister and her husband, Judy Ann Dalton and Tommy Pitts of Colorado, and nieces and nephews which follow: Candace Marie Dalton and husband John Ray, Brenna and Zachery Feit, Joseph Griffin, and Andrew Grybko, brother of Candace Ray.A memorial service and visitation will be held in the Reception Hall of Abernethy Methodist Church, 1418 Patton Avenue, on Friday, January 13th at 2pm, with the Rev. Wes Austin speaking. Others are encouraged to celebrate the life of Nancy by speaking.
