Nancy C. Scott, 67, Sarasota, died Aug. 3, 2002. She was born June 12, 1935, in Zanesville, Ohio, and came to Sarasota in 1972 from Elkhart, Ind. She was a hairdresser at the Charm Beauty Salon and a member of Southshore Community Church, both in Sarasota. Survivors include daughters Diana L. Faul of Bradenton, Cindy Jo Sloan of Sarasota and Brenda Lee Winchell of Pottsville, Ark.; a son, Randy L. of Lapeer, Mich.; sisters Marlin Gillen of South Bend, Mary Ann Freed of Sarasota and Midge Green of Elkhart; a brother, Larrie Kirby of Bristol, Ind.; and eight grandchildren. A Celebration of Life memorial will be in September. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.
