Nancy Akins Wood WOODVILLE - Nancy Akins Wood, 63, a retired who worked for employee Publix, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, in Tennessee. The service will be at 3 p.m. EDT Wednesday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel in Tallahassee (877-8191), with burial at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Quincy.Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT today at the funeral home. She is survived by a daughter, Beth Karalus of Atlantic Beach; five brothers, Derrell Akins of Jacksonville, Robert Akins and James Akins of Baxley, Ga., Skip Akins of West Palm Beach and Emmitt Akins of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Linda Benishek of New Market, Va., Karen Breedlove of Jacksonville and Elwanda Santiago of North Palm Beach; two grandchildren, Stephanie Karalus of Canada and Vanassa Karalus of Ocala; and a great-grandson, Kody Karalus of Ocala.
