Norman E.J. Peters, of Carmel, NY and formerly of Mt. Vernon, NY, passed away Monday, June 14, 2004. He celebrated his 80th birthday on May 26, 2004. Mr. Peters was born in Mt. Vernon, NY to the late Leslie William Peters and Marcella King Peters. He was a graduate of Mt. Vernon schools and a Corporal in the US Marine Corps during WWII. He worked for Reliable Sprinklers in Mt. Vernon, NY. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Cellini Peters, who he married on February 14, 1946; and two daughters Doreen Tomassi of Carmel, NY and Denise D'Aliso of Chapel Hill, FL. He is also survived by four grandchildren Colette and Michelle Tomassi, and Steven and Christopher D'Aliso; and four great-grandchildren.
