Nancy J. Peters BRATTLEBORO, VT Nancy Jean Peters, 55, of Route 9 in Marlboro, died Sunday evening, Dec. 5, 2010, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.Nancy was born in Brattleboro on Aug. 8, 1955, daughter of Howard and Joyce Sprague Wisell. She was raised in Brattleboro, attending public schools, and was a graduate of Brattleboro Union High School, Class of 1973. She had worked as a waitress at the former Jad's Restaurant and previously had been employed in the Housekeeping Department at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. She was a former resident of Hinsdale and had owned and operated her own day care center in Hinsdale. With her husband, she was a member of West Brattleboro Baptist Church. Nancy enjoyed camping, playing pitch and time shared with her family, especially with her granddaughter. On July 22, 1995, in Brattleboro, she was married to Dennis Peters, who survives. Besides her husband of 15 years, she leaves one daughter, Ami Lepisto, and husband, Tim, of Brattleboro; two sons, Jason and Matthew Peters, both of Brattleboro; her granddaughter, Hanah; and three brothers, Robert Wisell of Hinsdale, James Wisell of Guilford, N.H., and Stanley Wisell of Brattleboro. Additionally she is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. MEMORIAL NOTICE: A memorial service will be conducted at the West Brattleboro Baptist Church on Saturday, Dec. 18, at a time to be announced by the funeral home.
