Nancy N. Miller, age 77, born Aug. 15, 1932 in Erie, PA, daughter of Lucille and Edward Niebauer, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010. A graduate of Villa Maria Academy in Erie, Nancy loved different crafts and was a church organist in Erie for many years. She was a devoted wife to Norman Miller for 50 years. He retired in 1997 as manager of Gustafson Optical Co. and they moved to Florida. Norman preceded her in death in 2000. Nancy was mother to Melanie Miller Verno, Asheville, NC and Brian and Amy Miller , Ormond Beach; grandmother to Daniel, Crystal, Valerie, and Stephanie Verno of Erie and Douglas and Melissa Miller of Ormond Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Rd., Ormond. In lieu of other remembrances the family suggests donations be made to the Halifax Humane Society.
