Parsons, Myrtle E. COLONIE Myrtle E. Parsons, 86, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Community Hospice of Albany. She was born in Schuylerville, N.Y., and had resided in the Colonie area most of her life. She was employed by the Charles Freihofer Baking Co. of Albany, for 21 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Bakers and Confectioners Union of Albany. She was an avid bingo player and loved cooking and gardening. She was the wife of the late David Parsons Sr. and is survived by daughters, Carolyn (Norman) Davis of Broadalbin, N.Y. and Katherine (Ronald) Fink of Scotia, N.Y.; a sister, Aline Cobart of Grangerville, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Kay Squires of Grangerville; also survived by 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David Parsons Jr. Funeral service will be Friday, February 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Frederick Funeral Home, 633 Central Ave, Albany. Relatives and friends are also invited to call Friday, 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady.
