HENDERSON Murray Henderson, Jr., age 93, passed away on August 14, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Dr. Rudolph McKissick, Sr. and Bishop Rudolph McKissick, Jr., Senior Pastors. He retired from King Edwards Cigar Factory. Mr. Henderson is survived by a daughter, Joyce Proudme - Lemon; two sons, Eugene Henderson and Marvin Henderson; two daughters-in- law, Barbara Henderson and Faye Henderson; one sister, Anna Wesley (New Smyrna Beach, FL); 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephew, nieces and special friends. Homegoing Services will be held SATURDAY, August 23, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at his Church (Historical Sanctuary). The cortege will assemble at 1317 West 20th Street at 9:15 a.m. Mr. Henderson will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and in the Church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
