Muriel May Peterson 1924-2014 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Muriel May Peterson of Fredericton announces her passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday June 25, 2014 at the age of 90. Born in Blissfield NB, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Muriel is survived by her children; Terry, Rose (Keith), Margaret (Dana), Alta, Julie, Martha, Betty, Myrna, Merina, Alfred (Deloris), Geneva; special granddaughters, Jennifer and Krista, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Peterson, sons; William and Richard, daughter Tammy and by a brother Stiltson. Muriel will be resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Thursday June 26 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 27 at 1 PM from Smythe Street Cathedral with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in the Upper Blackville Pentecostal Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
