HAMILTON, MURIEL GERTRUDE - The death of Mrs. Muriel Gertrude Hamilton, wife of the late John Hamilton occurred on Thursday April 27, 2006 at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home. Born 1922 in Napika, Manitoba she was the daughter of the late Allan and Elizabeth (Murray) Williams. Muriel worked at Myers Studio for many years, hand coloring photos. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughter Ann Keating (Paul) of Quispamsis; sons Jack (Cookie) of Wickham, Bruce (Pauline) of Quispamsis, Barry (Nancy) of Rothesay, Brian (Lisa) of Quispamsis, Robert of Rothesay, Paul of Saint John and Gordon of Saint John; brother-in-law George Baart of Richmond, BC; sister-in-law Ruth Craig of Bangor, ME; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by brothers Charles and Buck Williams and sister Ethel Hosie. Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Monday May 1, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday May 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
