Muriel Ann Bryant, 59, of Belmont passed away on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at a Bangor health-care facility.She was born in Freedom on June 25, 1946, the daughter of Phyllis and Philip C. Spaulding. Muriel grew up in Montville and moved to Belmont when she was 18 years old. She like to cross-stitch and spend time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Bryant; and a brother, Albert "Sonny" Spaulding. Muriel is survived by her daughter, Sally Colburn, and her husband, Neil, of Belmont; three grandchildren Austin, Hannah and Erica; a sister, Marion Thomas and her husband, Claude, of Knox; a brother, Philip W. "Bo" Spaulding and his wife, Brenda, of Montville; a sister-in-law, Nancy Spaulding; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. today at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Freedom.
