Ms. Maggie Bell Williams, age 60, passed on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Bulloch County native was a member of the Thomas Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of the William James High School class of 67. She was a former employee of the Bulloch County board of Education as a custodian for Sallie Zetterower Elementary School. Ms. Williams leaves memories to be cherished by her loving children, Tammy Williams (Richard), Philadelphia, Pa; Sheila Williams and Chad (Sharon) Williams, both of Statesboro, Ga. her mother, Carrie Williams, Statesboro, Ga; 3 sisters, Willie Mae Allen and Bernice Johnson both of Statesboro, Ga; and Patricia Williams, Chicago, IL; 3 brothers, Paul Williams Jr., Pitrious Williams and Jimmy Williams, all of Chicago, IL; 8 grandchildren, 5 aunts, 4 uncles, a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held 1 p.m. Monday April 6, 2009, at the Thomas Grove Missionary Baptist Church with pastor Brock Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held Sunday evening from 7-8 p.m. in our Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
