SYLVANIA - Mrs. Nollie Mae Gordon Williams, age 84, passed into rest Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at her residence. The Screven County native was a homemaker and a member of the Simmons Branch Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves memories to be cherished by two loving daughters, Bernice Roberts and Eva Lee Matlock, both of Sylvania; two sisters, Eva Bulloch, Pembroke, and Edith Benton, Sylvania; a son-in-law, Melvin Matlock, Sylvania; six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Williams will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, at the Simmons Branch Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe H. Herrington officiating.
