Our beloved mother, Grammy, daughter, sister, and friend departed for "Home" Monday, December 21, 2009. Myrtle was 62 years old, and was born in Rita, West Virginia on November 17, 1947. She was the manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Milton, FL. She was a great mother and a loyal friend. Myrtle is survived by her two sons-Opine R. Carter, II, and Bryan H. Carter of Milton; her daughter-in-law-Kari L. Carter (Bryan's wife) of Milton; her precious granddaughter-Allezandra "Allie" Omega Carter (Opie's daughter) of Milton; 2 brothers-Chester L. Perry and his wife, Cora, of Rita, WV; and Billy Eli Perry and his wife, Linda, of Lundale, WV; 1 sister-Linda Pauline Coffman and her husband, Ike, of Kalamazoo, MI; many nieces, nephews, and her dear friend-Sandra S. "Susie" Nelson of Switzer, WV, and many other friends who will forever be changed by the kindness of her heart. Myrtle is now reunited with her mother-Ruby Marie Perry of Rita, WV; her father-Onney Mason Perry of Rita, WV; her brother-Onney Mason "Bubby" Perry, Jr. of Rita, WV; and her children's father, Opie R. Carter, Sr., of Columbus, OH - all of whom are now with Jesus. Myrtle's passion was her family. Being a mother and grandmother was her priority and she sacrificed everything for the honor of being the best Mom and Grammy. We have all been touched by her beauty and love, and our world will always be better because she was a part of it. At her request, Myrtle will be cremated and returned to the mountains of West Virginia, her home and the place found God and Peace. Memorial services will be held at the home of Chester L. Perry and family in Rita, WV. Please contact the family for memorial information. "Mom, we love you with all our heart and soul, pray to God to never let you go. Sweet dreams, God Bless." Let the family know you care. Sign the guest book under news/obituaries at www.srpressgazette.com
