TALLADEGA -Funeral services for Mary Frances Stamps Jackson, 73, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 27 at Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary Chapel with Elder Pernell K. Mitchell Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Union Springs Church Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. She was educated in the Talladega Public School System, was a homemaker, and was a member of House of Prayer for all People. She was preceded in death by daughters, Annie Stamps and Gloria Jackson; parents, Caesar and Rebecca Stamps; brothers, Sylvester Storey, Walter Stamps and Willie Stamps; and sister, Odessa Curry. Survivors are her husband, Hubert Jackson of Talladega; sons, Willie Jackson (Virginia) of Atlanta, Ga., and Hueldon "Moe" Jackson (Cathy) of Talladega; daughters, Camelia Chatman, Darlene Bradford, Wilma Jackson, Cynthia Jackson all of Talladega, Rebecca Burnett (James) of Tallahassee, Fla., Valerie Jones (David) of Riverside, and Virginia Mitchell (Keith) of Jacksonville; sister, Ella Groce of Talladega; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the services.
