TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Mrs. Lucille Chatman Johnson, 90, will be Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor the Rev. L.L. Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died Oct. 20, 2009, in Talladega Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Johnson; two sons, Joe Henry Johnson and Lovell Johnson; two stepdaughters, Ruby Wilson and Amanda Welch. She is survived by one son, George Johnson; one daughter, Annie L. Hendrick of Talladega; one sister, Bessie Griffin of Kileen, Texas; 30 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Westview Funeral Home will direct the service.
