Mrs. Louise E. Smith, 88, Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014. The life long resident of Live Oak retired from Alltel after thirty-seven and a half years and was a member of Tiger Lake Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by her: two daughters: Elaine S. Fletcher, Live Oak, FL, Susan S. (Mike) Jordan, Live Oak, FL; two sons: J.O. "Buddy" (Marsha) Smith, III, Interlachen, FL, Robert D. "Bob" (Andrea) Smith, Lake City, FL; two sisters: Elizabeth Corbin, Live Oak, FL, Christine Miller, Thornville, OH; sister-in-law: Elizabeth Evans, Live Oak, FL; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Sarah Evans; husband: J.O. "Jimmie" Smith , Jr. sister: Wannie Mae Brannon and brother: JD Evans. Services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, October 16th at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Melvin Owens and Father George Hinchliffe officiating. There will be a visitation held Wednesday, October 15th at Daniels Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
