Linda Ann Smith, 50, Inverness, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at her residence. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was born February 28, 1958, to John E. and Sharon (Dietz) Eder and came to this area in 1986 from Dania, Florida. She was employed as a broker for a realty firm. She enjoyed reading, sewing, pursuing martial arts and bowling and was very interested in her family genealogy. Her survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Smith, Inverness and Kimberly Cardona, Savannah, GA; her father, John E. Eder Sr., Margate, FL; her brother, John E. Eder Jr., Boca Raton, FL; two grandchildren, Alyssa Farley and Steven Cardona; and a nephew, John Angus Eder, Davie, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Ann Eder, on 11/08/1993.
