TALLADEGA – Funeral service for Mrs. Hester G. Davis, 90, will be Monday, June 28, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home with Oscar Walker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Davis died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at St. Vincent's St. Clair Hospital in Pell City. She was a charter member of Southwood Presbyterian Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" F. Davis, and her son, William "Zeke" F. Davis.Survivors are her daughter, Betty D. Webster of Talladega; granddaughter, Natalie Mobley of Talladega; granddaughter, Joanna Smith of Talladega; granddaughter Mandy Mackoy of Orlando, Fla.; grandson, Milton Thomas of Talladega; three sisters; five great-granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Milton Thomas, Paul Davis, Scotty Smith, Charlie Lanier, Pete Rich and Mike Gurley. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Southwood Presbyterian Church.Visitation will be Monday from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice.Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home of Talladega will direct the service.
