Obituary of Mrs. -Hattie-Mae Carter

Mrs. Hattie Mae Carter, age 97, of Ellabell passed into eternal rest on Saturday, April 7, at Bryan County Health and Rehab Center in Richmond Hill. She was a native of Bryan County and a member of Athens First Holiness Church where she served as one of the mothers of the church until her health failed. She leaves to cherish fond memories one son, Jessie J. Carter of Ellabell; three granddaughters, Quincella Geiger and Janet Carter both of Riverdale, Georgia, Crystal Carter of Washington, D.C.; a host of other relatives and friends. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday morning at 11 at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellabell. Service of comfort entrusted to the care of Craig R. Tremble and Sons Funeral Home.
