GUYTON-Gloria H. Smith, 60, died Aug. 19, 2007 at her home. The Screven County native was a member of Berea Southern Methodist Church, where she was in the W.M.S. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Russie L. Smith Jr. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ken Kennedy of Brunswick; son, Russie Lee Smith III of Effingham County; sister, Jeanette Evans of Sylvania; mother-in-law, Alice Smith of Effingham County; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Aug. 21, in the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Aug. 22, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Effingham Memorial Gardens.
