Dorothy Ptak Jordan, 80, formerly of Crestview, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007 in Nashville, Tenn. She was born in Selma, Ala. and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ethel Frank, and her husband, Leman Fay Jordan; a daughter, Mary Ethel Jordan; and a son-in-law, Albert Sandlendski. She was a foster parent and a member of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Gayle Baldwin and husband Elmer, Carolyn Sendlendski, Margarett Golden, Barbara Frady and husband Paul, and Betty Paul and husband Greg; a sister, Advinelle Norris; and special friend Richard Grissom; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Crestview Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements with a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services are to follow at the Old Bethel Cemetery, with Rev. Ray Wilson officiating.
