Mrs. Barbara Johnson, age 60, passed away Thursday morning at her residence surrounded by her family, after an extended illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a retired cook. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Osborne Johnson of Statesboro, Ga.; a daughter, Ms. Kim (Willie) Johnson of Statesboro, Ga.; a son, Mr. Shawn (Cynthia) Johnson of Statesboro, Ga.; eight sisters, Mrs. Pauline (Theodore) Mobley, Mrs. Ruby (Donald) Hill and Mrs. Janelle (Gene) Raymond, all of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Gloria (George) Johnson, Ms. Linda Faye Cone and Mrs. Patricia (Ralph) Scott, all of Brooklet, Ga., Mrs. Charlotte Lovett of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Louella (Ronnie) Cope of Stilson, Ga.; six brothers, Mr. Roosevelt (Janice) Cone, Mr. Abram Cone and Mr. Gary (Tina) Cone, all of Brooklet, Ga., Mr. Harry Cone, Mr. Charles Cone and Mr. Larry (Virginia) Cone, all of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Johnson will be Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Bethel Church Road, Statesboro Ga., with Bishop Larry Jones, eulogist. Interment will be held in Cone Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel, in charge of services.
