TALLADEGA - Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lee Johnson Kendrick will be Wednesday, March 24, at 1 p.m. at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Henry McGhee officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Kendrick died March 19, 2010, at Talladega Healthcare. She joined Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Later she moved her membership to Smith Chapel United Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Kendrick; two brothers, Joe Henry Johnson and Lovell Johnson; two sisters, Ruby Wilson and Amanda Welch; one grandson, Wendell Kendrick; and one great-grandson, Mikal Kendrick. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Truss (Larry) of Munford, Angela Smoot of Talladega, and Jacquelyn Grant of Talladega; two sons, Timothy Kendrick (Nicole) of Talladega and Clifton Kendrick (Kimberly) of Mascowtah, Ill.; three grandsons, Michael Kendrick of Talladega, Timothy Kendrick Jr. and Clifton Kendrick Jr. both of Mascowtah, Ill.; two granddaughters, Lekeatra Truss of Munford and Ashleigh Kendrick of Lincoln; one brother, George Johnson of Talladega; and one aunt, Bessie Griffin of Killeen, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Westview Funeral Home will direct the services.
