Mr. Willie James Williams, age 67, of Nevils, passed into eternal rest on Friday, June 20, 2008, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro after a long illness. He was a Tattnall County native and joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Claxton at an early age. He was employed as a farmer until his health failed. He leaves to cherish fond memories to one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Littles of Hawkinsville, Ga.; three sons, Randy Lee (Easter Rose) Williams of Nevils, Ronnie Dean Williams and Robert Gene Williams, both of Statesboro; four sisters, Mae Frances Adams of Brooklet, Juanita McCollum and Ivy (Charles) Mincey, both of Nevils, and Ishie (Randolph) Scott of Statesboro; a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Claxton. Bishop A.C. Pierce, pastor/eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
