Mr. William "Tommy" Jordan, 65, of Cumming passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, at his residence. Born Sept. 20, 1947, in Pine Log, he was the son of the late Andrew Jordan and the late Lillie Belle Oliver Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mae Wilbanks, Michelle Sensenbrenner, Nancy Sutton; and a brother, David Jordan.Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was a great man of God.He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret Jordan of Cumming; daughters, Tammy Jordan of Dawsonville, Debbie Nipper of Rome and her husband Ken, Tanya Bell of Cumming and her husband Jeff; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Beatrice Martin of Acworth, Velvet Strode of Burlington, Iowa, Vickie Turner of Maryville, Tenn.; brothers, James Jordan of White, Bobby Jordan of New Hope, Wayne Jordan of Adairsville, Ronnie Jordan of Rockmart, Daniel Jordan of Rockmart, Daryl Jordan of S. Pittsburg, Tenn.; along with several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 1, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
