The service of remembrance for Mr. William Henry LeMieux, 81, of Floral City, Fla., will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012, at the Hills of Rest Cemetery with Pastor Gordon Condit officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. He worked as a truck driver and moved to Floral City from Castleton, N.Y., in 1996. He enjoyed boating and was a member of Teamster Local 294, Albany, N.Y., lifetime member of Castleton Boat Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Inverness; IR-RU Club, Floral City; and the American Legion, N.Y.Mr. LeMieux was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his companion, Edna J. Johnson, and his pet cat, Boo.
