Mr. Sammie Lee Williams passed away on Friday evening in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Bulloch County native was a member of the First Born Church of a Living God in Pompano Beach, Fla., a retired cook and a graduate of William James High School. He is survived by four sisters, Alether Holloway, Statesboro, Shirley Ann Williams, Atlanta, and Reader Mae Williams and Martha Williams, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; one brother, Lee Ander Williams, Ft. Lauderdale; one aunt, Eva Nell (Matthew) Gordon, Philadelphia, Pa.; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mr. Williams will be Saturday, January 8th, at 2:30 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregory Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
