STATESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Ricky Lewis Davis, age 47, died Saturday evening from injuries sustained in an auto accident. The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was a tow truck operator. He was a member of the Statesboro Church of God. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Davis of Statesboro; two daughters, Rheann Davis of Statesboro and Stormie Davis of Brunswick; two sons, Ricky Trayton Davis and Tory Anderson, both of Statesboro; his mother and stepfather, Mildred Gay and Tom Troup of Garfield; his father and stepmother, Orbie and Martha Davis of Portal; a grandmother, Annie Louis Thompson of Portal; two sisters, Donna Hodges (Mike Faunce) of Register and Elaine Wilson of Statesboro; and two half-brothers, Tony Davis and Terry Davis, both of Portal. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Swanson and the Rev. Roy Jarriell officiating. Interment will be in the Portal City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Ivey, Ronnie Gay, Josh Gaskins, Phil Olliff, Chad Olliff, William Gay and Tony Gay.
