REGISTER - Mr. Henry Ray Anderson, age 79, died Thursday morning at his residence. The Johnson County native traveled with his military career in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. He lived in several areas including Germany, Alabama and Oklahoma. Following his retirement from the military, Mr. Anderson moved to Bulloch County and was employed with Georgia Southern College Campus Security for 15 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Robert NeSmith of Register; and two grandchildren, Melanie and Joey Cannady of Brooklet and Daniel Ray NeSmith of Register. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home. The graveside service and burial will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
