<!-- FH = Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home (731) 783-3026 -->Morris Edward WilliamsHumboldt, TN - Funeral services for Morris Edward Williams, age 88, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina, TN, with Ministers Charles Timberlake and Roger Utter officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Madison County. Mr. Williams died October 5, 2011 at Humboldt Health Care Center. He was born in Gleason, TN in Weakley County, son of the late Robert Lee and Katie Morris Williams, and attended school there, moving to Humboldt as a young man. During his lifetime, he had farmed, was a longtime employee of Jones Manufacturing Company and for several years, worked at Milligan's Economy Grocery. He was a member of Milan Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lois Doyle Williams. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Janice Milligan and husband Larry of Gadsden, TN; four grandchildren, Judi Utter and husband Roger of Rutherford, TN, Kelly Frazier and husband Ralph of Gadsden, TN, Doyle Milligan and wife Ashley of Gainsville, GA, and Monica Nelson and husband Rusty of Cullman, AL; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbye Timberlake and husband Charles of Covington, TN and Beatrice Black of Kennesaw, GA; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat, Sampson.Pallbearers to serve are his great-grandsons.Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home, Medina, TN (731) 783-3026.
