Morgan John Lee, 58 STEEP FALLS -- Morgan John Lee, 58, of Steep Falls, went to be with God on Nov. 26, 2009, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Portland on Aug. 16, 1952, he was the son of George B. and Edna I. (Houle) Lee. He was raised and educated in Windham, and was a 1969 graduate of Windham High School. Morgan was employed for the U.S. Postal Service, in Portland, for 28 years before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing trips with his many friends. His father, George B. Lee, predeceased him in 1973. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sharon A. Lee of Steep Falls; his wonderful son, Trevor Morgan Lee of Steep Falls; his mother, Edna I. Lee of Windham; one sister, Jackie Lee of Windham, one brother, George Lee and his wife Debra, also of Windham; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his two Golden's, Lacey and Zeda. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, from 1 until 3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., in Windham. Burial will held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, on the family lot at New Calvary Cemetery, South Portland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to a charity of choice.
