Obituary of Minnie-Mae Prysock-Wallace


Minnie Mae Prysock-Wallace SPARTANBURG, SC-- Minnie Mae Prysock-Wallace, born October 19, 1920, of 159 Collins Avenue, Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, June 28, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Health Care Center. A native of Union County, she was the widow of the late James Wallace and the daughter of the late Robert and Maude Rice-Prysock. Mrs. Wallace was a life long member of Wyatts Chapel Baptist Church. She was predeceased by two sons, Ernest and Willie James Wallace, five brothers and five sisters. Survivors include four daughters, Annie (Homer) Walton of Boiling Springs, SC, Wilma Wallace of Mt. Vernon, NY, Bertha Wallace and Dorothy (Ernest) Martin of Spartanburg, SC; six sons, Robert (Cora) Wallace of Spartanburg, SC, Albert (Wanda) Wallace of Pacolet, SC, Larry Wallace of Carrollton, TX, Johnny Wallace of Waldorf, MD, Nathaniel Wallace of Dallas, TX and Sean Wallace of the home; one step-son, Willie James Rice of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Lena Bonds of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Harrison Prysock of Union, SC, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive family and friends at the home. Callaham-Hicks Funeral Home
