HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Entered into rest Monday, July 19, 2004, at Franklin Medical Center, Hempstead, New York, Mrs. Minnie Mae Davis, of Blanchard Road, Belvedere, S.C. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Mount Transfiguration Baptist Church, Belvedere, S.C., with Reverend Clarence Hill officiating. The remains will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave 394 Blanchard Road at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Davis leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Frank Holmes; one brother, Rev. Willie Williams; three sisters, Fanny Bell Grave, Amanda McCloud, Millie Ann Garnett; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
