Minnie Lee Smith, 87, died on May 27, 2010. Service is at 12 noon Friday, May 28, 2010, at the Perry Funeral Home, 34 Mercer St., Newark. Viewing is from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Perry's. Interment is in Fairmount Cemetery, Newark. Born on Dec. 12, 1922, Minnie leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Alma Veal and Mattie Grundy; brothers-in-law, John Grundy and Robert Way; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
