Minnie Lee Henry, 71, Sarasota, died June 26, 2002. She was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Williston and came to Sarasota in 1956. She was a homemaker and a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, Court of Clanthes 104, Princess of Omar, Eastern Star 33 and Temple Daughters of Elks 756. Survivors include daughters Betty Smith of New York, and Katie Alexander, Mary A. Sumpter, Sandra Brown, Wilma Graham and Rena, all of Sarasota; sons McArthur Sellers of Palmetto and Artie Jr., Nathaniel and Jarvis, all of Sarasota; a sister, Edna Smith of Lakeland; a brother, J.D. Sellers of Sarasota; 34 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Chandler's Funeral Chapel. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Koinonia M.B. Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
