Minnie Lee Morris Cox, 95, formerly of Miller Oak Village, Mauldin, died March 11, 2001. Born in Shellman, Ga., she was a daughter of the late William Washington and Johnnie Mae Collum Morris. She was a housewife and a member of Newlight Baptist Church, Morgan, Ga. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Elizabeth Cox Jr. of Mauldin; a sister, Johnnie Will Davis of Morgan, Ga.; two grandchildren, Robin Marie Alexander and Angela Beth Karpinski; and two great-grandchildren, William James Alexander V, and Matthew James Alexander. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Cox Sr.; a daughter, Pegge Angelyn Cox Martin; and three brothers, Thomas, Ross and James Morris, all of Georgia. Visitation will be held today from 5 to 6 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive. Burial will be held Thursday at Newlight Baptist Church, Morgan, Ga.
