FROSTPROOF - Minnie B. Davis, of Frostproof, passed away July 29, 2010, at the Rohr Home in Bartow. She was born May 20, 1905, in Blue Cypress Lakes to the late Sam and Cora (Albritton) Brown. She has been a resident of Frostproof since 1965 moving there from Fort Pierce. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Frostproof Church of God, she loved church and church activities. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Davis; sons, Milton and Broward Davis; and daughter, Freda Brown. Survivors include her daughter, Daisy Brown of Tampa; son, Sam Davis of Okeechobee; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 2, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Funeral service was 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Frostproof Church of God with Rev.
