Mildred Louise Simmons, 73, of 528 Green St., widow of Billy (Amos) Marlow, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at B.J. Workman Hospital in Woodruff. A native of Woodruff, she was a daughter of the late Herman Shoe and Lesta Shoe Rhodes. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters, Doris Hoyt of Woodruff, Monica Marlow of Whindbey Isle, Wash., and Billie Fowler of Weaverly, Tenn.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased: a son, Allen Dean Marlow. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Cedar Hill Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Cedar Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
