Mildred Louise Garner Smith, age 73, of Dawsonville passed away on Feb. 13, 2010, at her residence following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Reeves and the Rev. Steve Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow in Chestatee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Smith was born June 25, 1936, to the late John (Henry) and Ester Payne Garner in Forsyth County. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, the Rev. James Herman Smith of Dawsonville; daughter, Debbie Smith Martin of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Michael H. and Pamela Smith of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Becky Smith and Danny E. Adams of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Kathyleen Smith and Jason Hulsey of Clermont; granddaughter and husband, Sharon and Josh Holt of Gainesville; grandson and wife, Stephen and Tammy Martin of Auburn; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Cole Perron of Gainesville; granddaughters, Paige Stewart, Blair Stewart and Konner Hulsey of Clermont; great-grandchildren, Madalyn Martin, Samuel Holt, Lillyan Martin and Olivia Holt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Noveleen and Thomas Butler of Dawsonville, Christine and the Rev.
