HALE, MILDRED KATHERINE, 68, of Portland, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 at U of L Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice McCord. She is survived by her husband, Melvin C. Hale; two sons, Edward and Allen Elmore; four daughters, Pat Charles, Anita Colmore, Eula Day and Lela Eisenback; a brother, Richard Estes; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 W. Market St., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is 1-8p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
