<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->March 3, 1930 - Dec. 27, 2014 Mildred Jean Long Harris of Huntsville, Alabama, passed in the early hours of Saturday December 27, 2014 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Born in Greenwood, Mississippi in 1930, she graduated from the Mississippi State College for Women. Jean enjoyed traveling abroad, photography, playing bridge, and meeting with her prayer group. She was preceded in death by Bud, her beloved husband of 55 years. Survivors include daughters, Diane Harris, Cathryn Harris, Pamela Wiggins and husband, Terry; and seven grandchildren, all of the Atlanta area. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 30 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Huntsville. The funeral will immediately follow at the church with the Reverend Hal Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. (www.laughlinservice.com)
