JACKSON, MILDRED FAYE, 85, of Louisville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Mildred was a 42-year retiree of the Colgate company and a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James E. Jackson. Mildred is survived by her children, Michael Jackson (Renee) and Vicki Smith; sisters, Louise Ramey, JoAnne Dobler and Gerri Despain; grandchildren, Michael Scoccola, Carrie Scoccola, Christi Scoccola-Hootman, Amanda Jackson, James Jackson and Cody Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Alice Pugh and Willow Hootman. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road.
